"We see demolished concrete as what it is – abundantly available inexpensive concrete aggregate."Let's start the journey →
For decades, the construction industry has focused on sustainability by trying to optimize individual ingredients — reducing cement, adjusting additives, and improving formulations. We saw a larger opportunity hidden in plain sight.
Each year, construction demolition waste accounts for on average 25–35% of all solid waste globally. This can be up to 65% in bigger cities – most of it concrete – often crushed and discarded or, at best, downcycled into low-value ground improvement or other construction base layers. Meanwhile, virgin aggregates continue to be extracted at scale, depleting natural resources, contributing significantly to CO₂ emissions, while being unnecessarily more expensive.
We asked a more fundamental question:
What if demolished concrete became the primary raw material for new, higher-performance concrete?
After years of research and development we have developed a solution.
CFT is changing how to approach concrete production. We provide holistic circular economy solutions and value chain control to fully replace aggregates with RCA in concrete production.
